Women at the heart of African cinema
The creation and sustainability of professional film organizations
is one of the challenges facing the African film landscape.
With the collaboration of the Women’s Foundation for
Africa and CIMA (Spanish Association of Women in Film and
Media), a meeting will take place at FCAT Córdoba between
African and Spanish women filmmakers.

The Women for Africa Foundation, created in 2011, aims to
promote the development and progress of Africa through the
empowerment of women and the achievement of equal rights
and opportunities.

In this roundtable the audience will become familiar with the

Córdoba, África Produce démarre avec la présentation des
auteurs et projets participants et la présentation du nouveau
fond de développement pours projets cinéma africains : le
regard du réalisateur.

Les femmes au centre du cinéma africain
La création et la durabilité des associations de professionnels
du cinéma est l’un des grands défis à relever qu’affrontent les
cinémas d’Afrique.
À cette occasion et avec la collaboration de la Fondation Femmes
pour l’Afrique(Femmes en Afrique), une réunion entre
réalisatrices africaines et espagnoles sera organisée au sein
du FCAT Cordoba.

Créée en 2011, la fondation Femmes pour l’Afrique a pour
objectif la promotion du développement et du progrès en Afrique
à travers le renforcement des pouvoirs des femmes et
l’obtention de l’égalité des droits et des chances.
