Branwen Okpako
Branwen Okpako nació en Lagos, de padre nigeriano y de madre galesa. Estudió
Ciencias Políticas en la Universidad de Bristol y Cine en el DFFB (Academia de
Cine y Televisión Alemana). Actualmente vive en Berlín. Tiene en su haber varios
cortometrajes, Landing y LoveLoveLiebe, entre otros. Ha dirigido dos largometrajes,
Tal der Ahnungslosen, estrenado en el Festival de Toronto, y La educación de
Auma Obama.

Branwen Okpako was born in Lagos, to a Nigerian father and a
Welsh mother. She studied politics at the University of Bristol
and film at the DFFB (German Film and Television Academy).
She is now based in Berlin. She wrote and directed the short
films Landing and LoveLoveLiebe among others. Her feature
films are Valley of the Innocent, which premiered at the TIFF,
and The Education of Auma Obama.
Branwen Okpako est né à Lagos d’un père nigérian et d’une
mère galloise. Elle étudie les sciences politiques à l’université
de Bristol et le cinéma à la DFFB (Académie allemande du cinéma
et de la télévision). Elle réside aujourd’hui à Berlin. Elle
a notamment écrit et réalisé les courts-métrages Landing et
LoveLoveLiebe, et les longs-métrages Valley of the Innocent,
projeté en avant-première au festival de Toronto, et The Education
of Auma Obama.
