Oliver Hermanus
Oliver Hermanus nació en Ciudad del Cabo en 1983. Es licenciado en Cine y Artes
Visuales. Comenzó su carrera como reportero gráfico. En 2006 hizo un máster en
Realización Cinematográfica en la Escuela de Cine de Londres. Desde entonces ha
dirigido varios cortometrajes, documentales y dos largometrajes: Shirley Adams
y Belleza, ambos seleccionados en varios festivales. En 2009 Oliver Hermanus
fue seleccionado para asistir a la 19ª sesión de la Cinefundación del Festival de
Cannes.

Oliver Hermanus was born in Cape Town in 1983. He graduated
in Film, Media and Visual Studies, and began his career
as a press photographer. In 2006, he completed an MA in
practical filmmaking at the London Film School. Since then,
he has directed several short films and documentaries and
two feature films: Shirley Adams and Beauty, both selected
for numerous film festivals. In 2009, Oliver Hermanus was
selected to attend the 19 th session of the Cannes Film Festival’s
Cinefoundation in Paris.
Né au Cap en 1983, Oliver Hermanus est diplômé en cinéma et
arts visuels. Il commence sa carrière comme photographe de
presse. En 2006, il décroche un master en réalisation à l’Ecole
de cinéma de Londres. Depuis, il a tourné plusieurs courtsmétrages
et documentaires et deux longs-métrages : Shirley
Adams et Beauty, tous deux sélectionnés dans de nombreux
festivals de film. En 2009, Oliver Hermanus est sélectionné à
la 19 e session de la Cinéfondation du festival de Cannes.
