I miglioramenti del symptom score, della qualità di vita e del flusso, ottenuti con
l’HoLEP sono ben confrontabili con quelli della TURP, ma mancano risultati a medio
e lungo termine
Dove sia disponibile l’attrezzatura, l’enucleazione transuretrale con laser ad Olmio è
proponibile a pazienti motivati che desiderino essere sottoposti a un metodo alternativo
di trattamento
