The Fishawack Group of Companies has acquired Swiss-based Phocus Services GmbH and its US
subsidiary Phocus Inc. The Fishawack Group, one of the largest independent healthcare communications
groups, has offices in Knutsford, Abingdon and Pennsylvania, and can now add Basel and New Jersey to
its footprint. Phocus is the third company to join the Group over the past 18 months and means that
agencies within the Fishawack Group are now represented on the preferred supplier lists of 12 of the top
20 pharma companies. The acquisition was financed by UK-based YFM Private Equity.
