In diesem
Attempting to construct a quantum cosmological, dynamically
Using the method of Lorentzian Dynamical Triangulations (LDT) to
quantize gravity non-perturbatively, we construct the discretized propagator
for one time step in 2+1 dimensions. The topology of the underly-
GR 12 Experimentelle Tests
ing spacetime-manifold is chosen to be T 2 × [0, 1]. Quantumcosmological
symmetries are introduced by requiring that the torus T 2 be locally flat
at integer values of time t.
If we ask for local flatness also at halfintegers t + 1,
the one-step-
2
propagator for this model can be computed explicitly. We rediscover the
kinetic term of the conformal mode, a typical feature of the Euclidian
(Hawking) path integral. However, since this model does not seem to
have enough entropy to lead to an interesting continuum theory, one can
modify this one-step-propagator by dropping the additional condidtion
of local flatness at halfintegers. This new model then has enough entropy.
Finally, the relation between the discrete torus parameters of these
models and the general expression for the modulus of a flat torus is
given.
On quantumdifferential forms — •Bertfried Fauser and Heinz
Dehnen —Universität Konstanz, Fachbereich Physik, Fach M678, D-
The exterior algebra is universal and therefore unique. If however
additional structures are added, e.g. a distinguished linear form, a coproduct,
or a deformation one finds non-isomorphic ‘quantized’ exterior
products and quantum exterior algebras (QEA). This notion is related to
time- versus normal-ordering in QFT. The present note explores the theory
of quantum exterior algebras (QEA) and Quantum Differential Forms
(QDF) to some extend. The classical and quantum exterior derivative is
given, closed and exact forms are examined and the non-trivial impact
of (deformation) quantization on Cauchy-Riemann differential equations
and de Rham co-homology is given.
Within the quest for a unification and quantization of all forces of
nature, significant efforts are made to test the foundations underlying
today’s theories, in particular General and Special Relativity. We report
on three different tests of Relativity: (i) a test of the isotropy of the speed
of light (Michelson-Morley experiment), (ii) a test of the independence of
the speed of light from the velocity of the laboratory (Kennedy-Thorndike
experiment), and (iii) a test of the universality of the gravitational clock
redshift for an electronic transition. These three tests, using cryogenic
optical resonators (COREs) as length standard and molecule iodine as
time standard, yielded improvements of the best previous tests by up to
a factor of three [1,2]. The potential for future improvements, terrestrial
and space-based, will be discussed.
solchen Gleichungen gewinnen wir die modifizierte Lichtgeschwindigkeit;
aber auch modifizierte Coulomb- und Vektorpotentiale. In Folge dessen
beteiligt. Insbesondere die Freifalltests der Differential–Accelerometer
werden am Fallturm des ZARM durchgeführt. Für diesen Zweck wurde
