Equipment Installation<br />
CAUTION: Never install or remove the CompactFlash<br />
when power is connected to the PLC Server.<br />
Installing CompactFlash<br />
To install a CompactFlash (CF) into a PLC Server:<br />
1. Make sure that the PLC Server is disconnected from its power source.<br />
2. Locate the CF <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>partment (see Figure 3-6).<br />

3. Carefully remove the CF from its shipping container. Locate the CF slot and<br />
position the card so its connector is facing towards the PLC Server and the label is<br />
facing up.<br />
4. Insert the CF into the PLC Server.<br />
Once installed, <s<strong>tr</strong>ong>Adept</s<strong>tr</strong>ong> re<s<strong>tr</strong>ong>com</s<strong>tr</strong>ong>mends that you do not repeatedly remove and insert the CF.<br />
