De a polgármester ebbe nem egyezett bele,
kijelentette, hogy a lakás életveszélyes, ki kell

napban százezer forint pénzbírságot kül de nek
ki. Na, jól van, ôk megadták nekem a kul túr -
házat, én voltam a bolond, hogy belemen tem,
hogy a lakásból kihurcolkodok, de csak addig,
ameddig a gyerekeim megjavítják a tetôt. A
gyerekek le is szedték a tetôt, hogy újjá építsük.

flat. Without me knowing about it, he went to
the man from whom I had bought the flat. It
was my fault, because I did not transfer the flat
to my name. I thought there would have been
no problem with that. There would be no problem.
Then the mayor went to the man to pay
him the money for the flat. Then he said: ‘Look!
I sold the flat to that poor woman, she paid for
it. Now you want me to sell the flat
to you as well, so that poor woman will be
homeless? Give her the money that you
brought here!’
But the mayor did not agree. He said that
the flat was dangerous and that I had to move
out. If I did not move out in thirty days, they
would send me a one hundred thousand forint
fine every month after that. They offered me the
communal house and I was stupid enough to
move out until my sons mended the roof. My
