A vasúton dolgoztunk. Jó vót. Sokat dolgoztunk,

Egy nagy, erôs német orvos, nem tudom mi
vót a neve neki, talán azt tette velünk, hogy hát
ne menstruáljunk. Elmondjam nyíltan? A sze -

Akkor nem is jött meg, de késôbb igen, mert
gyermekeim is születtek már itthon.

In this other camp there were only women. We

We worked at the railways. It was good. We
worked a lot but they only gave us food once, a
small, frozen carrot. But for us it was okay. We
were better off then others, because in front of
the gas chambers there were everything in the
world: potatoes, leeks, vegetables, carrots. When
we were able to get out, we stole one put it
under our arms and ran. I only survived because
I was able to steal food, otherwise I would have
died… If you were smart, you lived longer. They
did not care, if you died, you died.
A big, strong German doctor, I don’t know
what his name was, he made us not err.. not to
menstruate. Shall I say it frankly? She gave three
or four injections in our genitals once a week. It
