Record of Settings<br />

In addition to saving the configuration data in NVRAM to disk,<br />

keeping a hard copy of the controller configuration is also<br />

recommended. This will speed the recreation of the <strong>RAID</strong> in the event<br />

of a disaster.<br />

The following tables are provided as a model for recording<br />

configuration data.<br />

As a general rule, the configuration data in the NVRAM should be<br />

saved to disk or file (using Text<strong>RAID</strong> Manager) whenever a configuration<br />

change is made (see section 8.14).<br />
