Setting a SCSI Channel’s Terminator<br />

Press ENT for two seconds to enter the<br />

Main Menu. Press ▼ or ▲ to select<br />

"View and Edit SCSI Channels," then<br />

press ENT.<br />

SCSI channel information will be<br />

displayed on the LCD. Press ▼ or ▲ to<br />

browse through the information of every<br />

SCSI channel. Press ENT on a channel<br />

you wish the terminator mode changed.<br />

Press ▼ or ▲ to select “Set SCSI<br />

Channel Terminator,” then press ENT.<br />

The status of the SCSI terminator will be<br />

displayed on the LCD. Press ENT to<br />

continue.<br />

Press ENT again for two seconds to<br />

change the terminator mode to the<br />

alternate setting.<br />

• For the Sentinel<strong>RAID</strong> series controllers, setting terminator jumpers as terminator<br />

enabled requires no firmware configuration change. However, to disable SCSI<br />

termination, terminator jumpers associated with specific channel must be left open<br />

and firmware setting set to disabled.<br />
