4. Create Primary and Secondary IDs on Host Channels:<br />

"View and Edit SCSI Channels"→ Choose a host channel→ "View<br />

and Edit SCSI ID"→ Choose a SCSI ID→ "Add/Delete Channel<br />

SCSI ID"→ "Primary/Secondary <strong>Controller</strong>"→ Add SCSI ID from<br />

the list. Reset the controller for the configuration to take effect.<br />

5. Create Logical Configurations of Drives and assign each of them to<br />

either the Primary or the Secondary <strong>Controller</strong>:<br />

"View and Edit Logical Drives"→ Select a <strong>RAID</strong> level→ Select<br />

member drives→ "Logical Drive Assignments"→ Create Logical<br />

Drive.<br />

6. Map Each Logical Configuration of Drives to the Primary/<br />

Secondary ID on host channel(s):<br />

"View and Edit Host LUN"→ Choose a "host channel-IDcontroller"<br />

combination→ Choose Logical Drive/Logical<br />

Volume/Physical SCSI Drive→ Map to Host LUN (Create Host<br />

LUN Entry).<br />

• The redundant function of the controllers can be enabled via the front keypad or a<br />

terminal emulation program. Section 12.3 describes the procedures for using the<br />

terminal emulation and LCD front panel. The same result can be achieved regardless<br />

of the interface used.<br />
