3. Create and configure one or more logical drives or logical volumes.<br />

The host and drive channel configuration depends on your<br />

application topology. Map the logical units you created to Host<br />

IDs/LUN combinations.<br />

4. Save your configuration. The configuration information can be<br />

saved to logical drives or as a file in host system disk. When all<br />

the <strong>RAID</strong> configuration is done, use the “Save NVRAM to Disk”<br />

function (please refer to Chapter 6 and Chapter 8) to save your<br />

configuration data. You may also use the forms in Chapter 11 of<br />

this manual to keep a hard record of your configuration.<br />

5. Initialize your system and proceed with installing your operating<br />

system.<br />
