6.10 Viewing and Editing Host LUNs<br />

Viewing and Deleting LUN Mappings<br />

Press ENT for two seconds to enter the<br />

Main Menu. Press ▼ or ▲ to select<br />

"View and Edit Host Luns," then press<br />

ENT.<br />

Press ▼ or ▲ to select a host channel,<br />

then press ENT for two seconds.<br />

Press ▼ or ▲ to select a SCSI ID, then<br />

press ENT for two seconds.<br />

Press ▼ or ▲ to browse through the<br />

LUN number and its LUN mapping<br />

information.<br />

Press ENT on the LUN you wish to<br />

delete.<br />

Press ENT for two seconds to confirm<br />

deletion. The deleted LUN has now<br />

been unmapped.<br />

Pass-through SCSI Commands<br />

Pass-through SCSI commands facilitate functions like downloading<br />

firmware for drives or devices (not controller firmware), setting SCSI<br />

drive mode parameters, or monitoring a SAF-TE/S.E.S. device directly<br />

from the host. To perform such a function, the SCSI device must be<br />

mapped to a host SCSI ID.<br />

From the Main Menu, press ▼ or ▲ to<br />

select "View and Edit Host LUNs."<br />

If you have primary and secondary<br />

controllers, use the ▼ or ▲ to select the<br />

controller for the device that you would<br />

like to map.<br />

Press ▼ or ▲ to choose to map a SCSI ID<br />

to "Physical Drive" or other device and<br />

then press ENT.<br />
