With any of the Host LUN mapped, the “No Host LUN” message in<br />

the main menu will change to “Ready.”<br />

If your controller has not been configured with host channel and<br />

assigned with SCSI ID, please move on to section 6.11 for more details.<br />

6.8 Assigning Spare Drive and Rebuild<br />

Settings<br />

Adding a Local Spare Drive<br />

Press ENT for two seconds to enter the<br />

Main Menu. Press ▼ or ▲ to select<br />

"View and Edit SCSI Drives," then press<br />

ENT.<br />

SCSI drive information will be<br />

displayed on the LCD. Press ▼ or ▲ to<br />

select a drive that is stated as “NEW<br />

DRV” or “USED DRV” that has not<br />

been assigned to any logical drive, as<br />

spare drive or failed drive, then press<br />

ENT to select it.<br />

Press ▼ or ▲ to select “Add Local Spare<br />

Drive,” then press ENT.<br />

Press ▼ or ▲ to select the logical drive<br />

where the Local Spare Drive will be<br />

assigned, then press ENT for two<br />

seconds to confirm.<br />

The message “Add Local Spare Drive<br />

Successful” will be displayed on the<br />

LCD.<br />
