maintenance & safety inspections<br />
1. Take the tissue out of the plastic bag <strong>and</strong><br />
place it directly to the previously marked<br />
position under the <strong>running</strong> belt.<br />
2. Press with your h<strong>and</strong> on the <strong>running</strong> belt<br />
above the tissue <strong>and</strong> move the <strong>running</strong><br />
belt together with the tissue for exact 1<br />
meter.<br />
3. Take out the tissue <strong>and</strong> put it into the<br />
corresponding plastic bag. Take care that<br />
the plastic bag is closed sufficiently.<br />
Repeat steps 1 to 3 for the remaining<br />
positions.<br />
[04] After all required steps have been performed the tissues need to be returned to h/p/cosmos for further<br />
evaluation. The tissues will be weighed again <strong>and</strong> according to the weight difference h/p/cosmos can<br />
calculate if a modification of the lubrication interval is necessary.<br />
[9.D3] Devices without UserTerminal <strong>and</strong> without automatic oil-pump<br />
The devices without UserTerminal are equipped with an automatic oil message via acoustic signal (bleep)<br />
indicating the device needs to be lubricated. On st<strong>and</strong>ard setting every 1000 km (special device might have<br />
different intervals) after switching on the device (main power switch) the acoustic signal "5 times LONG (code for<br />
"0")" <strong>and</strong> 1 time SHORT + 4 times LONG (code for "1") will be repeated 3 times. The device has no sensor <strong>and</strong> the<br />
oil message will not terminate automatically after lubrication.<br />
The lubrication of the <strong>running</strong> belt <strong>and</strong> <strong>running</strong> surface is done with the enclosed, to the extent of delivery,<br />
accessories (bottle of lubricant <strong>and</strong> 10ml syringe). Use the provided lubricant only. Other available oils <strong>and</strong><br />
lubricants can damage the <strong>running</strong> belt <strong>and</strong> <strong>running</strong> surface <strong>and</strong> therefore lead to a breakdown of the <strong>running</strong><br />
<strong>machine</strong>.<br />
Please contact h/p/cosmos to receive the special oil. The <strong>running</strong> belt should be lubricated after 1000 km (special<br />
devices might have different intervals) at the latest or/<strong>and</strong> after hearing dry grinding noises during operation. After<br />
lubrication the oil message has to be terminated with "OPTION 01". An external UserTerminal or a PC-software<br />
h/p/cosmos para control ® is required for this.<br />
