trouble shooting<br />

In case of any detected <strong>and</strong>/or assumed malfunctions <strong>and</strong>/or defects or unreadable safety warning<br />

labels the device has to be taken out of operation, the device has to be marked <strong>and</strong> secured against<br />

operation <strong>and</strong> the supplier <strong>and</strong> authorised service personnel has to be informed in writing. See „option<br />

40“ in chapter „option settings“. With option 41 ... 44 you can lock also separate modes (manual,<br />

profile, cardio, test).<br />

[10.A] Mechanical / Noise problems<br />

In case you hear noises like knocking or rattling during the training please check if the <strong>machine</strong> has a firm st<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong><br />

follow exactly the advises in the chapter "Mechanical Installation" in this manual. Most time a false adjustment of the<br />

levelling sockets (adjustable "feet") at the rear of the Running-Machine are responsible for the knocking sound.<br />

[10.B] Running belt adjustment problems<br />

If the tension of the <strong>running</strong> belt is not correct it is difficult to keep the position of the belt centred.<br />

In case of reverse direction of the <strong>running</strong> belt: It is normal that the belt needs to be re-adjusted every time when using<br />

this option. Check <strong>and</strong> follow exactly the advises in the chapter "Control <strong>and</strong> Tightening of the Running Belt" in this<br />

manual.<br />
