The <strong>running</strong> belt rotation reverse will be announced by an acoustic signal <strong>and</strong> the display = "r." Speed will be<br />
indicated as a negative value while in operation = „-0.0 ... -5.0“.<br />
[12.M1] Pull Cord Actuator (lanyard + magnet)<br />
This stop function is a safety feature that is<br />
used with a waist belt. Especially with<br />
reverse belt rotation (downhill) it is also<br />
important to connect. The athlete or patient<br />
is connected to the magnetic switch at the<br />
UserTerminal via a ripcord at the waist belt.<br />
In case of an emergency the magnet gets<br />
ripped of from the UserTerminal <strong>and</strong> the<br />
<strong>running</strong> <strong>machine</strong> stops immediately. The<br />
ripcord is not a prevention of falling. At<br />
removed magnet „PULL STOP“ will occur in<br />
the display.<br />
Safety harnesses such as safety stop cord type (safety lanyard with pull-cord actuator) <strong>and</strong>/or safety arch with<br />
harness, chest belt <strong>and</strong> stop function <strong>and</strong>/or unweighting systems with patient vest <strong>and</strong> harness shall be adjusted<br />
in a way, that the subject can not use the rear 30% of the <strong>running</strong> deck length.<br />

Chest-harnesses, patient-vests, waist-belts with leash <strong>and</strong> cuffs are not designed for direct<br />
skin or mucous membrane contact. Wear appropriate clothing.<br />
