N Turn the key-operated switch <strong>and</strong> start the <strong>machine</strong> without a subject on the <strong>running</strong> belt only when the belt is<br />
not moving.<br />
N Observe the belt position for 2 minutes <strong>and</strong> correct the belt position with the belt adjustment screw (see<br />
chapter maintenance <strong>and</strong> belt adjustment). It is normal, that after changing the belt rotation, the belt will move<br />
to one side <strong>and</strong> therefore the <strong>running</strong> belt needs to be readjusted to the center of the <strong>running</strong> track.<br />
N Once the belt is readjusted, STOP the belt <strong>and</strong> operate the <strong>machine</strong> with the subject on the belt.<br />
[12.M3] Change from reverse to forward rotation<br />
N Turn the key-operated switch <strong>and</strong> start the <strong>machine</strong> without a subject on the <strong>running</strong> belt only when the belt is<br />
not moving.<br />
N Observe the belt position for 2 minutes <strong>and</strong> correct the belt position with the belt adjustment screw (see<br />
chapter maintenance <strong>and</strong> belt adjustment). It is normal, that after changing the belt rotation, the belt will move<br />
to one side <strong>and</strong> therefore the <strong>running</strong> belt needs to be readjusted.<br />

[12.N] Bottle holder<br />
In most cases the readjustment of the <strong>running</strong> belt requires the same revolutions of the belt adjustment screw.<br />
Therefore we recommend to note the required revolutions of the belt adjustment screw. This will help to avoid the<br />
waiting time <strong>and</strong> can reduce the belt adjustment procedure to some seconds effort.<br />
The bottle holder is available for all h/p/cosmos <strong>running</strong> <strong>machine</strong>s <strong>and</strong><br />
can be easily fixed with a clamp on the h<strong>and</strong>rail. The position of the<br />
bottle holder must not be at the rear end of the h<strong>and</strong>rail due to this end<br />
must be reachable for the subject.<br />

[12.O] Retrofitting UserTerminal<br />
All lt-models can be retro-fitted with a UserTerminal. h/p/cosmos<br />
oversized <strong>running</strong> <strong>machine</strong>s, which are equipped with an external control<br />
unit, can be complemented optionally with an additional UserTerminal at<br />
the h<strong>and</strong>rail.<br />
In this case the external UserTerminal is connected via interface to the<br />
<strong>running</strong> <strong>machine</strong>. To connect other devices, e.g. PC or ECG, an<br />
additional interface (com 2 or com3) at the <strong>running</strong> <strong>machine</strong> is<br />
necessary.
