trouble shooting<br />

<strong>running</strong> <strong>machine</strong> is still working<br />

N At MCU5 control electronic (as of manufacturing date<br />

12/2007) this error exclusively shows a defect of the option<br />

memory (FRAM). In this case, please contact h/p/cosmos <strong>and</strong><br />

request a service technician.<br />

N Optional setup restores to default factory setting <strong>and</strong> device<br />

type<br />

N By pressing the key c the device can still be used, but it is<br />

likely that individual settings <strong>and</strong> program profiles may not be<br />

available any more. Also Display readings <strong>and</strong> accuracy of<br />

speed <strong>and</strong> elevation need to be checked.<br />

N Press Start <strong>and</strong> STOP, power off <strong>and</strong> power on the device.<br />

N In case the error message E41 is still indicated, contact an<br />

authorized service technician.<br />

Either the MCU electronic may be defective or the battery may be<br />

low or defective.<br />

Running <strong>machine</strong> is not functioning<br />

N Check plug no. S6 at the MCU board<br />

N Maybe defective frequency inverter<br />

N Maybe power supply too weak because of an extension cable<br />

etc.<br />

N Check power supply <strong>and</strong> power cord<br />

N Contact authorized service engineer
