Note: Selecting “NEW PROGRAM” will also reset the OPTIONS selected to their defaultsettings except for the LOCK and AUDIO settings which must be changed manually.Infusion CompleteWhen the infusion is complete, the following screen will display:Variable Infusion CompleteThis screen displays:1 “INFUSION COMPLETE.”2 A graphic representation (completely filled in bar graph) indicating infusion complete, or thesmaller “dot” configuration (shown here) if a KVO RATE is programmed.3 TOT Vol (Total Volume): If units are mg or mcg, this field will also toggle to give the TotalInfused.4 KVO Rate: The preset KVO rate displays.5 Infusion Complete is considered an alarm status, and the audio alarm will beep periodically(every 3 seconds if there is no KVO, every 20 minutes if there is a KVO) to alert the user tothis condition. Additionally, the LED lights blink to alert you to the status of the pump. Thegreen light blinks when the KVO rate is infusing (if one is programmed) and the red lightblinks to indicate that the “Infusion Complete” alarm exists.Stopping the InfusionTo halt the infusion at “Infusion Complete”, press the “PAUSE” key and then choose to either:1 Turn off the pump by pressing the “OFF” key, or2 Select one of the options from the “Pause” screen:Pause Menu Screen3 REPEAT Rx: To repeat the present therapy and add another IV bag with the sameprescription, press the “YES/ENTER” key at this field. If more than one therapy isprogrammed, a “Select Therapy Screen” will list all preprogrammed therapies. Select whichtherapy to repeat by moving the cursor to the therapy of choice and pressing the“YES/ENTER” key.116
