The KVO Rate will beused between doses. The pump can be set from 0 to 10 ml/hour, but cannot be set at a rateto exceed the therapy-operating rate. When the desired KVO rate has been entered, press the“YES/ENTER” key to accept and move the cursor to the next field.When a KVO rate is programmed for the Intermittent Therapy, thepatient is not disconnected between dosing. The pumpautomatically cycles through dosing and KVO. A single beep alertsthe user to the change between dosing and KVO. If the KVO rate isset at “0”, the pump can be off between doses. The internal timeclock of the pump continues to monitor the dosing cycle.IMPORTANTINFORMATIONNote: The next three fields are automatically calculated based on the information alreadyprogrammed and are helpful in providing additional information for managing anintermittent therapy.
