Lunacharsky)on the Attitude of the Party Towards the TradeUnions”, also included for the first time in Lenin’s CollectedWorks, Lenin opposes the slogan of “neutrality” ofthe trade unions and urges the necessity of close alignmentof the trade unions with the Party with a view to developingthe socialist consciousness of the proletariat and educatingthe latter in the spirit of revolutionary Social-Democracy.
