Smallfarms having one to three head of cattle number 68,292, or37.9 per cent of the total; they have 140,730 head, i.e., only8 per cent of the total. An almost equal number, 133,802,or 7.7 per cent, is owned by 783 big farmers comprising 0.4per cent of the total number of farmers.
