Rich member self-service options ensure improved customer satisfaction.The business services available to Team Noridian and the Department are enabled through the EXACTSOA framework, described in the Technical Architecture below.Information ArchitectureThe information architecture is the least discussed aspect of the architecture. However, it is one of themost vital elements of an extensible, interoperable infrastructure. The proposed solution not only hasrobust baseline information architecture but also has the right data management strategy to manage thechanges typically associated with the health care regulations and reforms.The following section outlines key elements of the architecture of the new MMIS system components:• Conceptual data model (CDM)• Logical data model (LDM)• Data standards and dictionary• Data management strategyConceptual Data Model (CDM). The conceptual model of the new MMIS provides a holistic view ofthe subject entities and their relationships. The model has matured over the multiple iterations and hasshown the flexibility to accommodate different business delivery models, like the social service deliverymodel in the state of Washington. The conceptual model will provide the visibility of the different entitiesand their relationships.9 | 9
