Based on prior experience in MMIS projects and work with theDepartment, Team Noridian has developed a deliverable creation and approval process to ensuredeliverables meet Department expectations.We facilitate the deliverable review process by formally scheduling a Department walkthrough at draftsubmission and one at final submission. In addition, as we have done on past projects, for more complexdeliverables, such as design specifications, we recommend walkthroughs during the Department’s officialreview period to facilitate understanding and the resolution of issues. Throughout the development of thedeliverable, Team Noridian posts output of the work in process on an iterative basis to our electronicrepository which is available to the Department at all times.We work with the Department through collaborative work sessions such as JAD sessions, for review andvalidation prior to the first formal submission. These informal reviews allow the Department to previewthe document in smaller, more focused pieces. This immediate feedback helps prevent errors in the finalproduct and allows the Department to become more familiar with the deliverable, expediting the formal8 | 37
