For example, identifiedrisks could be issues related to loss ofconnectivity, abuse of privacy information,inability to hire a sufficient number of staff intime, loss of prior contractor staff to otheremployment opportunities, or facilities problems.The best way to address risk is to identify it earlyand prevent, reduce, or avoid the risk fromhappening. We review anticipated risks anddevelop a mitigation plan for those risks.Addressing risks requires management attentionFigure 8-14. Risk Management Plan. The issuemanagement process is both reactive andproactive in nature. As a reactive process, issuemanagement responds to incidents reported toTeam Noridian. As a proactive process, weseeks to identify potential problems before theyimpact the project. An issues management planoutline we have used for previous engagementsis provided in Figure 8-15.
