Answer.—As <strong>the</strong>re seems to have been no deception, fraud or<br />

wilful concealment practiced by <strong>the</strong> applicant, and as <strong>the</strong> Rebekah<br />

<strong>Lodge</strong> seems to have known all <strong>the</strong> facts in <strong>the</strong> case and acted in<br />

good faith, but illegally, and is liable to discipline <strong>the</strong>refore, I hold<br />

that <strong>the</strong> sister is entitled to all <strong>the</strong> rights and privileges in <strong>the</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong><br />

until her membership is terminated in a lawful manner. See Busbee's<br />

Digest, Sees. 995 and 996. Also, 1905 Journal, 33, 220, 224.<br />

Dec. 89. Question.—Is it allowable under <strong>the</strong> laws <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Order<br />

for members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Order, as individuals, or combinations <strong>of</strong> indi-<br />

viduals, at <strong>the</strong>ir own expense, to place a "memorial window" in a<br />

church, such window containing some <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> emblems <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Order <strong>of</strong><br />

Odd Fellows?<br />

Answer.—Yes. See Journal 1911. Decision 18, page 19.<br />

Dec. 90. Question.— Is a badge bearing <strong>the</strong> colors, "pink and<br />

green," but also a "United States flag" upon <strong>the</strong> same ribbon, <strong>the</strong><br />

regulation badge prescribed by Sec. 25, <strong>of</strong> tbe Rebekah Code?<br />

Answer.—No.<br />

Dec. 91. Question.—Can a sister who has been in good standing<br />

in a <strong>Lodge</strong> for fifteen consecutive years, and is entitled to wear a<br />

Rebekah Veteran Jewel as per Sec. 2624 <strong>of</strong> Busbee's Digest, be con-<br />

sidered an honorary member and be entitled to <strong>the</strong> same privileges as<br />

accorded an honorary member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Subordinate <strong>Lodge</strong>, and thus<br />

render her exempt from payment <strong>of</strong> dues?<br />

Answer.—In Journal <strong>of</strong> 1906, pp. 442, 675, 709, it has been held by<br />

<strong>the</strong> Sovereign <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong> that <strong>the</strong> law covered by Busbee's Digest,<br />

905, does not apply to <strong>the</strong> Rebekah branch <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Order.<br />

Dec. 92. Question.—Does Sec. 905, <strong>of</strong> Busbee's Digest, apply to<br />

members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Rebekah branch <strong>of</strong> Odd Fellowship, including <strong>the</strong><br />

sisters?<br />

Answer.—No. See 1906 Journal, 442, 675, 709.<br />

Dec. 93. Statement.—A Patriarch who has never held an elective<br />

or appointive <strong>of</strong>fice was elected to <strong>the</strong> <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> Senior Warden in an<br />

Encampment under <strong>the</strong> jurisdiction <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Sovereign <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong>.<br />

The constitution and by-laws <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Encampment are silent on <strong>the</strong><br />

matter.<br />

Question.—Is any Royal Purple degree member eligible to election<br />

to <strong>the</strong> <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong> Senior Warden, whe<strong>the</strong>r he has served a term in an<br />

elective or appointive <strong>of</strong>fice?<br />

Answer.—No. See Busbee's Digest, Sees. 1375, 1376, 1377.<br />

Dec. 95. Statement.—Article III, Sec. 1, <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> constitution <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>Grand</strong> Encampment <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Maritime Provinces <strong>of</strong> Canada, says: "The<br />

elective <strong>of</strong>ficers <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> Encampment shall be <strong>Grand</strong> Patriarach,
