That it is <strong>the</strong> sentiment <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Sovereign <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong> that<br />

A <strong>Grand</strong> Body may provide in its Constitution that <strong>Grand</strong> Representatives<br />

shall be recognized as elective <strong>of</strong>ficers <strong>the</strong>re<strong>of</strong>, but this<br />

shall in no wise render <strong>the</strong>m ineligible to any o<strong>the</strong>r elective <strong>of</strong>fice<br />

REPORTS SUBMITTED AND ADOPTED.<br />

Report No. 126. By Rep. Rinehart, <strong>of</strong> Florida, from <strong>the</strong> Special<br />

Committee on Codification <strong>of</strong> Laws:<br />

To <strong>the</strong> Sovereign <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong>, Independent Order <strong>of</strong> Odd Fellows:<br />

Your Special Committee on Codification <strong>of</strong> Laws report that con-<br />

siderable progress in <strong>the</strong> work <strong>of</strong> codification has been made; <strong>the</strong><br />

research and analytical character <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> same has made <strong>the</strong> task<br />

arduous and has required practically constant devotion <strong>of</strong> time. At<br />

one period during <strong>the</strong> progress <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> work it seemed to your committee,<br />

by reason <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> confusion <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> many laws created and<br />

enumerated by <strong>the</strong> numerous committees <strong>of</strong> this <strong>Grand</strong> Body, that<br />

codification was not possible, but as <strong>the</strong> work advanced <strong>the</strong> difficulties<br />

were overcome and your committee are able to assure <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong><br />

Body that <strong>the</strong> work will be completed and ready for presentation at<br />

<strong>the</strong> next annual session. Your committee, <strong>the</strong>refore, <strong>of</strong>fer <strong>the</strong> follow-<br />

ing:<br />

Resolved, That leave be given <strong>the</strong> committee to continue <strong>the</strong><br />

work and report next session, and that <strong>the</strong>ir report, toge<strong>the</strong>r with <strong>the</strong><br />

codification, be printed when ready, and placed upon <strong>the</strong> desks <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

members <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> Body at <strong>the</strong> next session.<br />

Report No. 119. By Rep. Brown, <strong>of</strong> <strong>Illinois</strong>, from <strong>the</strong> Committee<br />

on Odd Fellows' Homes:<br />

To <strong>the</strong> Sovereign <strong>Grand</strong> <strong>Lodge</strong>, Independent Order <strong>of</strong> Odd Fellows:<br />

Your Committee on Odd Fellows' Homes, to whom were referred<br />

<strong>the</strong> reports <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Grand</strong> Secretary on <strong>the</strong> Homes and Superintendents<br />

<strong>the</strong> same and from <strong>the</strong>m have compiled <strong>the</strong> following, which we submit<br />
