Dear <strong>Grand</strong> Master:—As your Special Deputy, in matter <strong>of</strong> Flood<br />

Sufferers, I beg to report <strong>the</strong> following donations made to <strong>the</strong> Bro<strong>the</strong>rs<br />

named, both members in good standing <strong>of</strong> Junction <strong>Lodge</strong>, No. 434,<br />

I. O. O. F., <strong>of</strong> Junction, <strong>Illinois</strong>.<br />

Oscar Wren—Occupation, farmer; renter; has wife and five children<br />

dependent on him; lost all his household goods; between<br />

250 and 300 bushelsi <strong>of</strong> corn, all he had; all his hay; he has been<br />

sick several days, caused by overwork trying to save his prop-<br />

erty; he and family are now in a tent in Junction, and on <strong>the</strong><br />

charity <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> world; age, 49 years. Gave him for temporary and<br />

immediate relief, twenty-five dollars.<br />

C. E. Berry—His present family consists <strong>of</strong> himself and wife; age,<br />

• help<br />

59 years; has no property except his household goods, all <strong>of</strong><br />

which was lost in flood; works by day's work for a living, and no<br />

work that he can do until <strong>the</strong> flood subsides; in need <strong>of</strong> funds to<br />

immediate needs. Gave him for temporary and immediate<br />

relief, ten dollars.<br />

We, <strong>the</strong> undersigned members <strong>of</strong> Junction <strong>Lodge</strong> No. 434, recommend<br />

<strong>the</strong> foregoing donations.<br />
