~ n Safety ~ of P~B'SQPBIS e Travelling ~ ~ by Railway. ~<br />

intent to injure or to endanger the safety of any<br />

person travelling by any railway, whether a particular person or not-<br />

(1) Deals with the railway, or with anything whatever upon or<br />

near the railway in such a manner as to affect or endanger<br />

the free and safe use of the railway or the safety of any<br />

such person; or<br />

(2) Shows any light or signal, or in any way deals with any<br />

existing light or signal, upon or near the railway; or<br />

(3) By any omission to do any act which it is his duty to do<br />

causes the safety of any such person to be endangered;<br />

is guilty of a crime, and is liable to imprisonment with hard labour for<br />

or without whipping, which may be inflicted once, twice, or thrice.<br />

he is on board any aircraft whether a particular person or not-<br />

(a) Deals with the aircraft or with anything whatever upon or<br />

near the aircraft or with anything whatever either directly or<br />

indirectly connected with the guidance control or operation of<br />

the aircraft in such a manner as to affect or endanger or be<br />

likely to affect or endanger the free and safe use of the<br />

aircraft or the safety of any such person; or<br />

(b) By any omission to do any act which it is his duty to do<br />

causes the safety of any such person to be endangered,<br />

is guilty of a crime and is liable to imprisonment with hard labour for<br />

life.<br />

bodily harm to another is guilty of a crime, and is liable to imprisonment<br />

with hard labour for fourtea years.<br />

~~~~~g to Injure by Explosive SE stances. Any person who<br />

unlawfully, and with intent to do any bodily harm to another, puts<br />

any explosive substance in any place whatever, is guilty of a crime, and<br />

is liable to imprisonment with hard labour for fourteen years, with or<br />

without solitary confinement.<br />

who unlawfully, and with intent to injure or annoy another, causes any<br />

poison or other noxious thing to be administered to, or taken by, any<br />

person, and thereby endangers his life, or does him some grievous bodily<br />

harm, is guilty of a crime, and is liable to imprisonment with hard labour<br />

for fourteen years.<br />

323. ~Q~~~~~ and Similar <strong>Act</strong>s. Any person who-<br />

(1) Unlawfully wounds another; or<br />

(2) Unlawfully, and with intent to injure or annoy any person,<br />

causes any poison or other noxious thing to be administered<br />

to, or taken by, any person;<br />

is guilty of a misdemeanour, and is liable to imprisonment with hard<br />

labour for seven years.<br />

<strong>The</strong> offender may be arrested without warrant.<br />
