NO. llO.-CO~NTERFEITING COPPER COIN.<br />

Section 157.<br />

(1.) Made [or Began to make] a counterfeit copper coin apparently intended<br />

to pass for the current coin called pennies [or for a coin of the United States of<br />

America called cents (or as the case mag be)].<br />

(2.) Without lawful authority or excuse made [or mended or began (or<br />

prepared) to make (w mend) or had in his possession or disposed of to one M.N.]<br />

a tool [or an instrument or machine] which was adapted and intended for making<br />

eounterfeit copper coin apparently intended to pass for the current: copper coin<br />

called pennies [OT for coins of the United States of Amesica called cents (or as<br />

the case may be)]: And that the said A.B. then knew that the said tool [or 4c.1<br />

was so adapted and intended.<br />

(3.) Bought or Sold or Received or Paid or Disposed of] [or Offered to buy<br />

(OT sell or receive or pay or dispose of)] from [or to] one M.N. [ten] counterfeit<br />

copper coins apparently intended to pass for the current copper coin called pennies<br />

(or as the case may be, as in (2)) at a lower rate than the same imported [or were<br />

apparently intended to import].<br />

(4.) As in (1) (2) or (3)) showing that the offence was committed with respect<br />

to foreign coins:<br />

And further that the said A.B. had previously, namely, on &c, at &e., been<br />

convicted (&e. as in preceding Porm).<br />

NO. 111.-UTTERING BASE COPPER COIN.<br />

Section 158.<br />

(1.) Uttered a counterfeit copper coin apparently intended to pass for the<br />

current copper coin called pennies (or as the case way be): And that the, said A.B.<br />

then knew that the same was counterfeit.<br />

(2.) Had in his possession [three] pieces of counterfeit copper coins apparently<br />

intended to pass for the, current copper coin called pennies (or as the case may<br />

be) with intent to utter [some of] them: And that the said A.E. then knew that<br />

the same were counterfeit.<br />

NO. 112.-DEFACING COIN BY STAMPING WORDS THEREON.<br />

Section 159.<br />

Defaced a current gold [or silver or copper] coin, namely a scrvereign (or as<br />

the case may be), by stamping a name [or names or a word or words] upon it.<br />

NO. 113.-UTTERING FOREIGN COIN, MEDALS, &e., AS CURRENT<br />

COIN WITH INTENT TO DEFRAUD.<br />

Section 160.<br />

Uttered as and for the current gold [or silver] coin called sovereigns (or as<br />

the case may be) a coin which was not curreat coin [or a medal (or a piece of<br />

metal) which was of less value than a sovereign (or &.)I, with intent thereby then<br />

to defraud.<br />

NO. 114.-EXPORTING COUNTERFEIT COIN.<br />

Section 161.<br />

Without lawful authority or excuse exported [or put on board of a vessel (07<br />

dray) (or as the case may be) for the purpose of being exported] from <strong>Queensland</strong><br />

[ten] counterfeit coins apparently intended to pass for the current coin called<br />

sovereigns (or as the case may be): And that the said A.B. then knew that the<br />

same were counterfeit.<br />

NO. 115.-HAVING POSSESSION OF MORE THAN FIVE PIECES OF<br />

COUNTERFEIT FOREIGN COIN.<br />

Section 162.<br />

Without lawful authority or excuse had irt his possession [ten] counterfeit coins<br />

apparently intended to pass for coins of the United States of America called dollars<br />

(or as the case mag be).
