333. Evading Laws as to Equipment of<br />

ing Dangerous<br />

GOO&. Any person who-<br />

(1 ) Being a person having actual control over a vessel on board<br />

of which any article has been placed with his knowledge<br />

or consent in order to the obtaining of permission or authority<br />

to leave a port, removes or allows the removal of such article<br />

from the vessel after such permission or authority has been<br />

obtained; or<br />

(2) Knowingly sends by any vessel, or carries in any vessel, any<br />

explosive substance,'or any acid or other thing of a dangerous<br />

or destructive nature, under a false description of the<br />

substance or thing, or with a false description of the sender<br />

thereof;<br />

is guilty of a misdemeanour, and is liable to imprisonment with hard<br />

labour for three years.<br />

334. Landing Explosives. Any person who-<br />

(1) Being charged by law with any duty respecting the landing<br />

or delivery of any explosive substance or of any acid or other<br />

thing of a dangerous or destructive nature from any vessel,<br />

fails to perform that duty; or<br />

(2) Being concerned in the landing of any such substance or<br />

thing from any vessel, violates the provisions of the laws<br />

relating to such landing;<br />

is guilty of a misdemeanour, and is liable to ~pr~so~ent with hard<br />

labour for three years.<br />

This section does not apply to gunpowder the: property of Her<br />

Majesty while it is under the control of an officer of Her Majesty's army<br />

or navy, or ordnance, or of the Defence Force of <strong>Queensland</strong>.<br />

CHAPTER XXX-ASSAULTS<br />

335. Common Assatdt. Any person who unlawfully assaults another is<br />

guilty of a misdemeanour, and is liable, if no greater punishment is<br />

provided, to imprisonment with hard labour for one year.<br />

3%. ASSaUlt With h h t %O CQ ece. Any person who<br />

assaults another with intent to have carnal knowledge of him or her<br />

against the order of nature is guilty of a crime, and is liable to imprisonment<br />

with hard labour for fourteen years.<br />

337. ~ ~ Assault ~ on eMdes. c Any person ~ ~ who unlawfully ~ and<br />

indecently assaults any male person is guilty of a misd~meanour, and is<br />

liable tcu imprisonment with hard labour for seven years.<br />

338. Assaults on Persaplps protecting Wrecks. Any person who unlawfully<br />

assaults and uses actual violence to a justice or any other person while<br />

acting in the execution of his duty in or concerning the preservation of a<br />

vessel in distress, or of any vessel or goods wrecked, stranded, or cast on<br />

shore, or lying under water, is guilty of a crime, and is liable to imprison-<br />

ment with hard labour for seven years.<br />

338~. Assaults of member of crew on aircraft. Any person who while<br />

on board an aircraft unlawfully assaults a member of the crew of the<br />

aircraft or threatens such a member with any violence injury or detriment
