or (c) omitted [or was privy to omitting] from a book [or document or account]<br />

which belonged (&e. us in (a)), namely, &e., a material particular, namely, an<br />

entry of a sum of $200 received by him from one Q.R. on account of the said<br />

E.F. [and others] (or as the case nzuy be), with intent thereby then to defraud.<br />

NO. 268.-FALSE ACCOUNTS BY PUBLIC OFFICER.<br />

Section 442.<br />

Being an oEcer in the Public Service of <strong>Queensland</strong>, and being charged by<br />

virtue of his office with the receipt [or custody or management] of public revenue<br />

[or property], knowingly furnished to one Q.R., an officer in the said Public<br />

Service, a false statement [or return] of moneys [or of property] received by him<br />

[or entrusted to his core] 8s such officer [or of a balance of money (or property)<br />

received by him as such officer and remaining in his possession (or under his<br />

control) as such officer],<br />

No. 269,--UNLAWFULLY USING CATTLE.<br />

Section 445.<br />

Unlawfully used a horse (or as the case may be), the property of one E.F.,<br />

without his consent and without the consent of any person in lawful possession<br />

khereof.<br />

NO. 270.-SU$PICION OF STEALING CATTLE.<br />

Section 446.<br />

On &e. a horse (or as the case may be) was suspected on reasonable grounds to<br />

have been stolen, and that at the time aforesaid at &c. [part of] the skin [or<br />

carcass] of the said horse (or &c.) was found in the possession [or custody] of A.B.<br />

NO. 271.-ILLEGAL BRANDING.<br />

Section 447.<br />

Branded [or Marked] a horse (or as t7te case may be) [or Knowingly permitted<br />

a horse (or &c.) to be branded (or marked)] with his registered brand, knowing<br />

that he was not the owner of the said horse (or &).<br />

NO. 272.-DEFACING BRANDS.<br />

Section 448.<br />

(1.) Altered [or Defaced or Rendered undistinguishable] a registered brand<br />

(or registered mark] upon a horse (or as the case may be).<br />

(2.) Knowingly permitted a registered brand [or registered mark] upon a horse<br />

(or &e.) to be altered [or defaced or rendered undistinguishable] by one M.N., a<br />

person over whom he then had control.<br />

NO. 273.-UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF SHIPWRECKED GOODS.<br />

Section 451.<br />

On &e. certain goods, namely (describe them), belonging to the ship Amy [or<br />

a barge (or as the case may be)], which was then in distress [or stranded] [or had<br />

then lately been wrecked] were suspected on reasonable grounds to have been<br />

unlawfully taken from the said ship (or &e.): And that at the Lime aforesaid at<br />

&e. the said goods were found in the possession [or on the premises] of A.B.<br />

NO. 274.-OFFERING SHIPWRECKED GOODS FOR SALE.<br />

Section 452.<br />

0i;ilered [or Exposed] for sale a boat (or as the case may be) which was<br />

suspected on reasonable grounds to have been unlawfully taken from the dip Amy<br />

(or as the case may be), which was then in distress [or stranded] [or had then<br />

lately been wrecked].<br />
