NO. 63.-ILLEGBL PRACTICES.<br />

Section 105.<br />

State the holding of the election, the name of accused, and the date and place<br />

of ofence, as in Form No. 56, and proceed:<br />

(1.) Being prohibited by law from voting at the said election, and knowing<br />

that he was so prohibited, voted at the said election:<br />

or (2.) Proeured one E.F., who was prohibited by law from voting at the<br />

said election, and whom he knew to be so prohibited, to vote at the said elcction:<br />

or (3.) Before [or During] the said election, and for tho purpose of prpmoting<br />

[or procuring] the choice of one X.P., a candidate at the said election, knowingly<br />

published a false statement that one E.F., another candidate at the said election,<br />

had withdrawn from being a capdidate :<br />

or (4.) Before [or During] the said election, and for the purpose of affecting<br />

the return of one E.F., a candidate at the said election, knowingly published a<br />

false statement of fact respecting the personal character [or conduct] of the said<br />

E.F., namely, a statement to the effect that the said E.F. had committed bigamy<br />

[or had accepted a bribe for his vote as a member of the Legislative Assembly (or<br />

as the case may be)]:<br />

or (5.) Being a candidate at the said election, withdrew from being such<br />

candidate in consideration of the payment to him by one M.N. of a sum of money<br />

[or of a promise made to him by one M.N. of the payment of a sum of money]:<br />

or (6.) Being a candidate [or the agent of one M.N., who was a candidate]<br />

at the said election, corruptly procured one Q.P., who was also a candidate at the<br />

said election, to withdraw from being such candidate in consideration of the<br />

payment [or of a promise of payment] to him, the said OJ?., of a sum of money.<br />

NO. 64.-QTREB ILLEGAL PRACTICES.<br />

Section 106.<br />

Stale the holding of the election, the name of accused, and the date und place<br />

of ofeme, as zn Form No. 56, and proceed:<br />

(1.) Enowingly provided money for the purpose of making payments in connee-<br />

tion with the said election contrary to the provisions of Section 103 of the <strong>Criminal</strong><br />

<strong>Code</strong> (or as the case may he, describe the <strong>Act</strong> intended to be violated by its short<br />

title, if any, or by the year and number) [or for the purpose of replacing money<br />

which had then lately been expended at the said election in making payments<br />

contrary to the provisions of Section 103 of the <strong>Criminal</strong> <strong>Code</strong> (or as the case may<br />

be)] :<br />

or (2.) Printed [or Published or Posted] a bill [or placard or poster] having<br />

reference to the said election. and which did not bear on its face the name and<br />

address of the printer and Dublisher thereof:<br />

or (3.) Hired [or Used] for a commitbee room at the said election part of a<br />

house then licensed for sale of fermented [or spirituous or fermented and<br />

spirituous] liquors [or, part of certain premises where intoxicating liquor was then<br />

usually sold (or supplied) to members of a club (or society or association), called<br />

the XY, Club (or as the case muy be), and which was not a pcrmanent poIitica1<br />

club/: Such part of the said house [or premises] not being a part with a separate<br />

entrance and having no direct communication with any part of the premises in which<br />

intoxicating liquor was sold, and not being a pprt ordinarily let for the purpose of<br />

chambers or offices or for holding public meetings or arbitrations:<br />

or (4.) Let for use as a committee room at the said election part of a house<br />

(be. as an (3) to the end) : he, the said A.B., then knowing that the same was<br />

intended to be used as such committee room.<br />

Section 108.<br />

State the holding of the election, the name of accused, and the date and place<br />

of ofence, as in Form No. 56, and proceed:<br />

(1.) Intruded into a polling booth in use at the said election, he the said A.B.<br />

not being lawfully entitled to he in the said polling booth:<br />

or (2.) Wilfully interrupted [or obstructed or disturbed] the polling (or as the<br />

case may be) at the said election.
