CRIMINAL PRACTICE RULES-FORMS<br />

or (b) stamps [or licenses or permits (or as the case may be)] used for the<br />

purpose of the public revenue of <strong>Queensland</strong> (or as the case may be);<br />

(2.) Without lawful authority or excuse made [or began (or prepared) to make<br />

or used OT knowingly had in his possession or knowingly disposed of] machinery<br />

[or an instrument or material] for making paper resembling [or capable of<br />

producing in (or on) paper words (or figures or letters or marks or lines) resembling<br />

words (or figures or letters or marks or lines) used in (or on)] paper specially<br />

provided by the proper authority for (bo. as in (a) ).<br />

(3.) Without lawful authority or excuse impressed [or made] upon a plate (or<br />

as the case may be) certain words [or figures OT letters or marks or lines] the print<br />

whereof resembled [in part] the words [or figures or letters or marks or lines] used<br />

in certain documents (40 as in (1) (a) ) [or in stamps (&e. as in (1) (b) ) or in<br />

banknotes. ]<br />

(4.) Without lawful authority or excuse used [or knowingly had in his possession<br />

or knowingly disposed of] a plate (or as the case may be) upon which were<br />

impressed [or made] certain words the print whereof resembled [in part] (go. as<br />

in (3) ).<br />

(5.) Without lawful authority or excuse used [or knowingly had in his<br />

possession or knowingly disposed of] paper on which were [or was] written [or<br />

printed] [part of] the usual contents of certain documents (&c. US in (1) (U) ) [or<br />

of stamps (bo. as in (1) (b) ) or of banknotes].<br />

Section 511.<br />

(1.) Without lawful authority or excuse made [or mended or began (OF<br />

prepared) to make (or mend) or used OT knowingly had in his possession or knowingly<br />

disposed of] a die [or plate or instrument] capable of making an impression<br />

resembling that made by a die [or plate or instrument] used for the purpose of<br />

making an impressed [or adhesive] stamp used for the purposes of the public<br />

revenue [or of the Post Office] of <strong>Queensland</strong> (or as the case may be) [OT capable<br />

of producing in (or on) paper words (or figures or letters or marks or lines)<br />

resembling words (or figures or letters or lines) used in (or on) paper special1:r<br />

provided by the proper authority for the purpose of making impressed (or adhesive)<br />

stamps used for the purposes (&e. as above)].<br />

(2.) Without lawful authority or excuse had in his possession [or disposed of]<br />

paper (or as the case mag be) having on it the impression of a die [or plate or<br />

instrument] capable (&e. as in (1) [or having on it words (or #e. resembling &c.<br />

as in (1’) )].<br />

(3.) Fraudulently, and without lawful authority or excuse, removed from a<br />

piece of paper [or parchment] an impressed [or adhesive] stamp used for the<br />

purposes of the public revenue (or &e. as in (l)), with intent that use might be<br />

made of [part ofl, th3 said stamp.<br />

(4.) Fraudiulently, and without lawful authority or excuse, mutilated an<br />

impressed [or &dhesive] stamp used (bc. as in (l)), with intent that use might be<br />

made of [part of] the said stamp.<br />

(5.J Frqdulently, and without lawful authorivy or excuse, fixed [or placed]<br />

upon a piece of paper [or parchment] [or upon a# impressed (or adhesive) stamp<br />

used (4.. as in (1) ) [part of] an impressed [or adhesive] stamp used (#e. as in<br />

(1) ) [or (part of) a stamp used for the like rposes] which had been removed<br />

from another piece of paper [or parchment] [or i? hich had been removed out of (or<br />

from) anather stamp].<br />

(6.) Fraudulently, and without lawful authority or excuse, erased [or cut out<br />

(or as the case may be)] from a piece of paper [or parchment] upon [or to] which<br />

an impressed Lor adhesive] stamp used (&e. as in (1)) had been impress$ [or<br />

attached] certain words (or as the case may Be) written upon it, with intent that<br />

use might be made of the said stamp.<br />

(7.) Knowingly, and without lawful authority or excuse, had in his possession<br />

Lor disposed of]<br />

(a) an impressed [or adhesive] stamp, used (&e. as in (1) ), which had been<br />

fraudulently and without lawful, authority or excuse removod from (be.) with<br />

intent (4c. us h (3)),;<br />

or fb) which had bern fraudulently and-without lawful authority or excuse<br />

mutilated with intent (bc. as ii (4) ) ;<br />
