XI. ~~~~~~~~ sftea Previous C~ltavkti~nt. If the offender, before committing
the offence, had been convicted upon indictment of any of the
indictable offences defined in this Division of this Part of this Code, or
had been twice previously summarily convicted of an offence punishable
on summary conviction under this Division of this Part of this Code,
whether each of the convictions was in respect of an offence of the same
character or not, he is liable to imprisonment with hard labour for seven
years.
XIP. ~~~~l~~~ of an aircraft. If the thing stolen is an aircraft the
offender is liable to imprisonment with hard labour for fourteen years.

CHAPTER XXXVII-OFFENCES ANALOGOUS TO STEALING
399. an^ egisters. Any person who, with intent to defraud,
conceals or takes from its place of deposit any register which is authorised
or required by law to be kept for authenticating or recording the title to
any property, or for recording births, baptisms, marriages, deaths, or
burials, or a copy of any part of any such register which is required by
law to be sent to any public officer, is guilty of a crime, and is liable to
imprisonment with hard labour for fourteen years.

Is. Any person who, with intent to defraud, conceals
any testamentary instrument, whether the testator is living or dead, is
guilty of a crime, and is liable to imprisonment with hard labour for
fourteen years.
401. Cmc Any person who, with intent to defraud, conceals

cx estate in land is guilty of a crime, and is liable to imprisonment with
hard labour for three years.
i%ng Animals with Intent t~ Steal. Any person who kills any
capable of being stolen with intent to steal the skin or carcass,
or any part of the skin or carcass, is guilty of a crime, and is liable to
the same punishment as if he had stolen the animal.
