NO. 221.-CONCEALMENT OF MATTERS AFFECTING LIBERTY,<br />

Section 357.<br />

(1.) Being the officer in charge of a reception-house duly appointed for the<br />

reception and temporary treatment of persons committed upon suspicion of being<br />

of unsound mind (or as the case may be), and being in that capacity required by<br />

law to keep a record touching the personal and medical history of ane E.F., who<br />

was then eonfined as a patient in the said reception-house (or &c.), refused [or<br />

neglected] to keep such record [or made in such record an entry which was false in<br />

a material particular, namely, in that he the said A.B. thereill entered that (state<br />

the false entry), whereas in fact (state the truth), as he the said A.B. then well<br />

knew].<br />

(2.) Being (&. as in (l)), and being in that capacity required by law to give<br />

information to one Q.R., the inspector of asylums for the insane (or as the case may<br />

be) touching the health of one E.F. (or as the case may be) [or to show to one Q.R.,<br />

the inspector (&c. as above), one E.F.], who was then confined as a patient in the<br />

said reception-house (or &CL) [or to show to one Q.R., the inspector (&. as above),<br />

a room in the said reception-house (or &c.) in which one E.F. was then confined as<br />

a patient].<br />

(a) refused [or neglected] to give such information [or to show the said E.F.<br />

(or the said room) to the said Q.R.];<br />

OT (b) gave to the said Q.R. information touching the health of the said E.F.<br />

(or as the case may be) which was false in a material particular, namely, in that<br />

the said A.B. informed the said Q.R. that (state false information), whereas in fact<br />

(state the truth), as the said AB. then well knew.<br />

NO. 222.-UNLAWFUL CUSTODY OF INSANE PERSONS.<br />

Section 358.<br />

Detained [or Assumed the custody of] one E.F., an insane person, for gain,<br />

otherwise than for the purpose of his temporary custody during his removal for<br />

treatment under the laws relating to insane persons; he the said A.B. not being a<br />

person appointed by the Supreme Court in that behalf or otherwise authorised by<br />

law to make such detention [or assume such custody].<br />

[or Assumed the custody of one E.F., an insane person, by receiving him into a<br />

reception-house without the production of the documents required by law to be<br />

produced upon such reception] (or as the case may be, setting out the statutor~<br />

provision violated).<br />

NO. 22 3 .-THREAT S.<br />

Section 359.<br />

Threatened to assault [or to defame] one E.F. [or to procure the dismissal of<br />

one E.F. from his employment] (or as the case may be), with intent thereby to<br />

prevent [or hinder] the said E.F. from making a complaint that certain goods had<br />

then. lately been stolen from him by the said A.B. [or one M.N.] (or as the case<br />

may be) [or with intent to compel the said E.F. to attend a meeting of workmen<br />

then about to be held (or to march in a procession or to vote at an election for the<br />

municipal council of A. (or as the case may be))].<br />

VI.-OFFENCES RELATING TO MARRIAGE AND PARENT& RIGHTS AND<br />

DUTIES.<br />

NO. 224.-BIGAMY.<br />

Section 360.<br />

(1.) Being then lawfully married to one C.B., went, through the form of<br />

marriage with one E.F. during the life of the said C.B.<br />

(2.) Went through the form of marriage with one M.N., who was then the<br />

lawful wife [or husband] of one O.N., as the said A.B. then well knew.<br />

NO. 225.-UNLAWFUL CELEBRATION OF MARRIAGE.<br />

Section 361.<br />

(1.) Celebrated [or Attempted (or Professed) to celebrate] the marriage of one<br />

E.F., who was then under the age of twenty-one years and was not a widower [or<br />

widow], as the said A.B. then well knew, without the written consent of any person<br />

authorised by lr,w to consent to such marriage [or with a written consent purporting<br />

tG be given by one M.N., who was not authorised by law to give mch consent, M<br />

the said A.R. then well knew].
