48 ss.70-77 CRIMINAL CODE<br />

70. ~ o ~ Entry. c ~ Any ~ l person ~ who, in a manner likely to cause a<br />

breach of the peace or reasonable apprehension of a breach of the peace,<br />

enters on land which is in the actual and peaceable possession of another<br />

is guilty of a misdemeanour, and is liable to imprisonment for one year.<br />

It is immaterial whether he is entitled to enter on the land or not.<br />

$aimer. Any person who, being in actual possession of<br />

lour of right, holds possession of it, in a manner likely to<br />

cause a breach of the peace or reasonable apprehension of a breach of<br />

the peace, against a person entitled by law to the possession of the land<br />

is guilty of a misdemeanour, and is liable to imprisonment for one year,<br />

ray. Any person who takes part in a fight in a public highway,<br />

s part in a fight of such a nature as to alarm the public in any<br />

other place to which the public have access, is guilty of a misdemeanour,<br />

If the offence is committed in the night the offender is guilty of a<br />

crime, and is liable to imprisonment with hard labour for two years.<br />

g. Any persons who assemble<br />

together, to the number of three or more, for the purpose of unshipping,<br />

carrying, or concealing, any goods subject to Customs duty and liable<br />

to forfeiture under any law relating to the Customs, are guilty of an<br />

offence, and each of them is liable on summary conviction to a fine<br />

not exceeding two hundred dollars, or to imprisonment with hard labour<br />

for six months.<br />

77. Umbwfd Processions. (1) Any persons who assemble together, to<br />

the number of three or more, under any of the following circumstances,<br />

that is to say,-<br />

(a) Bearing or wearing or having amongst them any firearms or<br />

other offensive weapon; or<br />

(b) Publicly exhibiting any banner, emblem, flag, or symbol, the<br />

displaying of which is calculated to promote animosity<br />

between Her Majesty’s subjects of different religious faiths; or
