CRIMINAL PRACTICE RULES-FORMS<br />

(r.) Wilfully and unlawfully damaged a rope (&e. as in (q)) [and] with intent<br />

thereby to destroy the said rope (or &c.) [or to render the said rope (or #c.)<br />

useless].<br />

(s.) Wilfully and unlawfully destroyed [or damaged,] a well (or 40. as in<br />

preceding Form).<br />

(t.) Wilfully and unlawfully destroyed [or damaged] a document, namely, a<br />

Commission under the Great Seal of the Colony (or as the case may be) which was<br />

then deposited [or kept] in a public office, namely, the Treasury (or as the case<br />

may be) [or a document, namely, a deed (or as the case may be) which was evidence<br />

of the title of one E.F. to land (or to an estate in land)].<br />

NO. 285.-ATTEMPTS TO DESTROY PROPERTY BY EXPLOSIVES.<br />

Section 470.<br />

Unlawfully, and with intent to destroy [or damage] a house [or a ship or<br />

certain goods (or as the case may be)], the propezty of one E.F. [or his own<br />

property], put gunpowder (or as the case may be) in a cellar under [or near] the<br />

said house (or as the case may be) [with intent thereby then to defraud].<br />

KO. 286.-ATTEMPTS TO INJURE NINES.<br />

Section 471.<br />

(1.) Unlawfully caused water to run into a mine [or into a subterraneous<br />

passage communicating with a mine] [or Unlawfully obstyucted a shaft (or passage)<br />

of a mine], the property of one E.F., [or his own property], with intent thereby to<br />

injure [or to obstruct the working of] the said mine [&d with intent thereby to<br />

defraud] :<br />

And that the aforesaid act was not an act done unaerground in the course of<br />

working an adjoining mine.<br />

(2.) Unlawfully obstructed the working of a machine [or an appliance or<br />

certain apparatus] appertaining to [or used with] a mine, the property of one E.F.<br />

[or his own property],. with intent thereby to injure [or to obstruct the working of]<br />

the said mine [and with intent thereby then to defraud].<br />

(3.) Unlawfully injured [or unfastened] a rope (or as the case may be) used<br />

in a mine [or used upon a way (or work) appertaining to (or used with) a, mine],<br />

the property of one E.F. [or his own property], with intent thereby (&e. as in (2)).<br />

NO. 287.-INTERFERING WITH MARINE SIGNALX.<br />

Section 472.<br />

(a.) Wilfully and unlawfully removed [or defaced or rendered invisible] a light<br />

[or beacon or buoy or mark or signal] used for purposes of navigation [or for the<br />

guidance of seamen].<br />

(b.) Unlawfully attempted to remove [or deface or render invisible] a light<br />

(or 4%. as in (a)).<br />

No. 288.-INTERFERING WITH NAVIGATION WORKS.<br />

Section 473.<br />

(1.) Wilfully and unlawfully removed [or disturbed] a wall [or pile or bank<br />

(or as the case may be)] used for securing a bank of the sea (or as the case may<br />

be) [or for securing a work appertaining to a port (or as the case may be) or for<br />

securing a work which was used for purposes of navigatbn (or for lading (or<br />

unlading) goods) 1.<br />

(2.) Unlawfully opened a floodgate [or sunk a barge (or as the case may be)]<br />

in the River B., being a navigable river [or in a navigable canal], with intent<br />

thereby to obstruct the carrying on [or completion or ma~tenance) of the<br />

navigation of the said river [or canal], and thereby obstructed such carrying on<br />

(or &e.).<br />

NO. 289.--COMhlUNICATING INFECTIOUS DISEASES TO ANIMALS.<br />

section 474.<br />

Wilfully and unlawfully caused [or Was wilEully and unlawfully concerned in<br />

causing or Wilfully and unlawfully attempted to cause] an infectious disease,<br />

namely, scab, (or as the case may be), to be communicated to [or among] a flock of<br />

sheep, the property of one E.F.
