s, Any person who wilfully and unlawfully kills,<br />

any animal capable of being stolen is guilty of an<br />

indicfa~~e offence.<br />

PP the animal in question is a horse, mare, gelding, ass, mule, camel,<br />

bull, cow, ox, ram, ewe, or wether, or the young of any such animal, the<br />

offender is gllrilty of a crime, and is liable to imprisonment with bard<br />

labour for seven years, with or without solitary confinement.<br />

In any other case the oftender is guilty of a misdemeanour, and is<br />
