NO. 8.---UmlAwFur, DRILLING.
Section 51.
(!.) .In contravention of the directions of :A Proclamation of the Governor in
Cmneil in that behalf traiiki [or drilled], one M.N. a d others [to the said
Attorney-General (or to the said J.J.K.) unknown] to the use of wms [or to the
practice of military exercises (or movernents or evolutions) 1.
(2.) Was present at a meeting [or assembly] of persons beld in contravention
of the directions of a Proclamation of the Governor in Council in that behalf for
the purposc of there training [or drilling] divers other persons [OT me M.N. and
others (Bc., as in (I))] to the use of arms (or &., as in (1)).
(3.) Was present (&., as in (2) to ‘‘behalf’9),
(0) and being so present was trained [or drilled] to the use of arms [or &c.,
QS in (1));

Section 52.
(I.) Conspired together [o? with one ]M.N. or with divers persons to the Said
Attorney-General (or 3.J.X.) unknown] to carry into execution an eoterprise
having for its obje&
(a) to brtng our said Lady the Queen into hatred and contempt;
or (b) to excite disaffection against oiir said Lady the Queen [or against the
Government (or Constitution) of Queenslsnd as by law established1 [or against
the Legislstive Ceuncil (or Legislative Assembly) of Queensland] [or against the
administration of justice] ;
OP (e) to excite the subjects of our said Lady the Queen to attempt to procure
the alteration of certain matters in the Slate, as by law established, otherwise than
by lawful means;
or (d) to raise discontent and disafEection amongst the subjects of our said
Lady the Queen ;
or (c) to promote feelings of iilwill and enmity between different classes of the
subjecls of our said Lady the Queen.
(2.) Advisedly spoke [or wrote or printed] an3 published tho seditious words
[or writing] following, that is to say (set out or describe the seditious wOrd~,or
writing wcth such innuendoes as muy be necessary to set forth any meaning
attribi~ted to it which is not apparent on its face).

Section 53.
TJnlamfully spoke [or wrote or printed] and published of and concerning the
Queen of the Netherlands (or as the case may be) the defamatory matter following
(set out or describe the matter in question with smh innuendoes as may be necessary
to show that it tcnds to expose the KWnce or person defamed to hatred and contempt
in the estimation of the people of the Poreign State).

Section 54.
(1.) Advisedly wrote and sent to the Governor of Queensland a letter threatening
to kill [or asrjault OT make a false accusation against] the said Governor, if
he did n.)t remit the sentence of death then lately passed upon one M.N. [or if he
did not forthwith dismiss his Ministers] (or as the case may be, sat out the act
charged): Such act of the said A.B. being calculated to interfere with the free
exercise by the said Governor of the duties [or authority] of his office.
(2,) Advisedly wiotc and seat to one R.P., then being a member of the
Executive Council of Queensland, ZL letter threatening to do him bodily harm if he
did not, as a member of ihe said Executive Council, eoncur in advising the Governor
of the said Colony to appoint one M.N. to an offiee of profit in the Public Service
