(2) Publicly offers to return to any person who may have bought<br />

or advanced money by way of loan upon any stolen or lost<br />

erty the money so paid or advanced, or any other sum<br />

(3) Prints or publishes any such offer;<br />

is guilty of an offence, and is liable on summary conviction to a fine of<br />

one hundred dollars.<br />

rescues or attempts to rescue from lawful custody an offender<br />

under sentence for the crime of treason or murder, OT any of<br />

the crimes defined in the second paragraph of section eighty-one and in<br />

section eighty-two of this <strong>Code</strong>, or a person committed to prison on a<br />

charge of any of the crimes mentioned or referred to in this section is<br />

guilty of a crime, and is liable to imprisonment with hard labour for<br />

life.<br />
