Xcction 60.<br />

(1.) In order to influence one M.N., then being a member of tho Legislative<br />

Council [or Legislative Assembly] of <strong>Queensland</strong>, in his vote [or opinion or<br />

judgment or action] upon a certain question [or matter1 which had then lately arisen<br />

[or which was then about to arise] jn the said Legislative Council<br />

Assenibly] [or in a Conlmittee of the said Legislative Council<br />

Assembly) (or in a Joint Committee of the Legislative Council and Legislative<br />

Assembly of <strong>Queensland</strong>) of whicfi the said M.N. was then a member [or In order<br />

to induce one M.N., then being a member of the Legislative Council [or Legislative<br />

Assembly) of <strong>Queensland</strong> to absent himself from the said Legislative Council (or<br />

Legislative Assembly) (or from a Committee of the said Legislative Council) (or<br />

Legislative Assembly) (or from a Joint Committee of the Legislative Council and<br />

Legislative Assembly of <strong>Queensland</strong>) of which the said M.N. was then a member]<br />

gave to [or conferred upon or procured for or promised (or offered) to give to<br />

(or confer upon or procure (or attempt to procure) for)l the said M.N. [or one<br />

O.P.1 a certain sum of money, namely, $200 (or #e., as in preceding Form).<br />

(2.) Attempted, by fraudulently representing to one M.N., then being a member<br />

of the Legislative Council [or Legislative Assembly1 of <strong>Queensland</strong>, that (stads<br />

fraudulent representation) to influence the said M.N. (or Attempted by threats<br />

(OT intimidation) to influence one M.N., then being (Be., as above)] in his vote (or<br />

&c., as in (I)).<br />

(3.) Attempted, by fraudulently representing to one M.N., then being a member<br />

of the Legislative Council [or Legislative Assembly] of <strong>Queensland</strong>, that (state<br />

fraudulent re~~esentat~on) to induce the said M.N. [or Attempted by threats (or<br />

intimidation) to induce one N.N., then being (kc., as above)] to absent himself<br />

from the said Legislative Council [or Legislative Assembly] for from a Committee<br />

of the said Legislative Council (or Legislative Assembly) (or from a Joint Committee<br />

of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of <strong>Queensland</strong>) of which the<br />

said M.N. was then a member].<br />

And other persons assembled together to the number of three [and more]<br />

(1.) And other persons were riotously assembled together to the number of<br />
