(2.) Celebrated [or Attempted (or Professed) to celebrate] marriage between<br />

one E.F. and one G.H. contrary to the provisions of the laws relating to the<br />

solemnization of marriage, in this that he the said A.B. was not a minister of<br />

religion ordinarily oflciating as such [whose name, designation, and usual residence<br />

was then duly registered] (or as the case may b,e, setting out the breach of tke law<br />

in question).<br />

(3.) Celebrated [or Attempted (or Professed) to celebrate] marriage between<br />

one E.F. and one G.H., who had not [nor had either of them] duly made a de’elara-<br />

tion that there was no impediment or lawful objection to such marriage (or as the<br />

case may be, state the provision not complied with).<br />

(4.) Induced [or Attempted to induce] one M.N. to celebrate the marriage of<br />

one E.F., who was then (bc, as in (1)) [or ts celebrate marriage between one E.F.<br />

and one G.H. contrary to the laws relating to the solemnization of marriages, in<br />

this that the said M.N. was not a minister of religion (4c. as in (2)), as he the<br />

said A.B. then well knew] [or to celebrate marriage between one E.F. and one G.H.,<br />

who had not (4%. as in (3))l.<br />

(5.) Married one E.F., who was then under the age of twenty-one years (&e.<br />

as in (1)).<br />

No. 226.--UNQUALIFIED PERSONS PROCURING REGISTRATION AS<br />

PERSONS QUALIFIED TO CEL~RATE MARRIAGES.<br />

Section 362.<br />

Not being a persoii who was entitled to be registered under the laws relating<br />

to the solemnization of marriages as a person authorised to celebrate marriages,<br />

and kiiowing that he was not such a person, procured his name to be registered<br />

as a person so entitled.<br />

NO. 227.-CHILD STEALING.<br />

Section 363.<br />

(1.) Forcibly [or Fraudulently] took [or enticed] away [or detained] one E.F.,<br />

a child under the age of fourteen years, with intent to deprive one G.F., the parent<br />

[or guardian] [or who then had the lawful care (or charge)] of the said E.F., of<br />

%he possession of the said child [or with intent to steal certain articles upon (or<br />

about) the person of the said E.F.].<br />

(2.) Received [or Harboured] one E.F., a child under the age of fourteen years,<br />

with intent (&e. as in (1.)) : And that he, the said A.B., then knew that the said<br />

E.F. had then lately been forcibly [or fraudulently] taken [or enticed] away [or<br />

detained] with the intent aforesaid.<br />

NO. 228.-DESERTION OF CHILDREN.<br />

Section 364.<br />

Being a parent of one E.B., a child under the age of fourteen years, and being<br />

able to maintain the said E.B., wilfully and without lawful or reasonable cause<br />

deserted the said E.B. and left him [or her] without means of support.<br />

VII.-DEFAMATION.<br />

NO. 229.-UNLAWFUL PUBLICATION OF DEFAMATORY MATTER.<br />

Section 380.<br />

Unlawfully wrote [or spoke] and published of and concerning one E.F. the<br />

defamatory matter following, that is to say (set out the defamatory matter with<br />

such innuendoes, if any, as may be necessary). [And that the said A.B. then knew<br />

that the said defamatory matter was false.]<br />

NO. 230.-DEFAMATION OF MEMBERS OF PARLIAMENT BY<br />

STRANGERS.<br />

Not being a member of either House of the Parliament of <strong>Queensland</strong>, unlaw-<br />
