4.6.5 Event Recorder<br />

The <strong>469</strong> event recorder can be viewed through the EnerVista <strong>469</strong> Setup software. The<br />

event recorder stores generator and system information each time an event occurs (e.g.<br />

breaker failure). A maximum of 256 events can be stored, where E256 is the most recent<br />

event and E01 is the oldest event. E01 is overwritten whenever a new event occurs. Refer<br />

to Event 01 to Event 256 on page 6–33 for additional information on the event recorder.<br />

Use the following procedure to view the event recorder with EnerVista <strong>469</strong> Setup:<br />

With EnerVista <strong>469</strong> Setup running and communications established,<br />

EVENT LISTING<br />

Lists the last 256 events<br />

with the most recent<br />

displayed at top of list.<br />

DEVICE ID<br />

The events shown here<br />

correspond to this device.<br />

Select the Actual > A4 Event Recorder item from the main menu.<br />

This displays the Event Recorder window indicating the list of<br />

recorded events, with the most current event displayed first.<br />

EVENT SELECTION<br />

Select an event row to<br />

view event data information,<br />

which will be displayed in the<br />

window to the right<br />

EVENT DATA<br />

System information as<br />

measured by the relay<br />

at the instant of the<br />

event occurrence.<br />

To view detailed information for a given event and the system information at the moment<br />

of the event occurrence,<br />

Change the event number on the Select Event box.<br />

CLEAR EVENTS<br />

Click the Clear<br />

Events button to<br />

clear the event list<br />

from memory.<br />

SAVE EVENTS<br />

Click the Save Events<br />

button to save the event<br />

record to the PC as a<br />

CSV file.<br />
