CHAPTER 6: ACTUAL VALUES<br />

• INVALID PASSCODE ENTERED: If an invalid passcode is entered for passcode security<br />

feature, this message will flash on the display.<br />

• INVALID SERVICE CODE ENTERED: This message appears if an invalid code is entered<br />

in S13 <strong>469</strong> TESTING <strong>GE</strong> MULTILIN USE ONLY.<br />

• KEY PRESSED HERE IS INVALID: Under certain situations, certain keys have no<br />

function (e.g. any number key while viewing Actual Values). If a key is pressed where it<br />

should have no function, this message will appear.<br />

• NEW PASSCODE HAS BEEN ACCEPTED: This message will appear as an acknowledge<br />

that the new passcode has been accepted when changing the passcode for the<br />

passcode security feature.<br />

• NEW settings HAS BEEN STORED: This message appear each time a settings has<br />

been altered and stored as shown on the display.<br />

• NO ALARMS: This message appears if an attempt is made to enter the A1 STATUS <br />

ALARM STATUS subgroup when there are no active alarms.<br />

• NO START BLOCKS ACTIVE: This message appears if an attempt is made to enter the<br />

A1 STATUS START BLOCKS subgroup when there are no active Start Blocks.<br />

• NO TRIPS OR ALARMS TO RESET: If RESET is pressed when there are no trips or alarms<br />

present, this message will appear.<br />

• OUT OF RAN<strong>GE</strong>! ENTER: #### - ##### by #: If an entered settings value that is<br />

outside of the acceptable range of values, the <strong>469</strong> displays this message, substituting<br />

the proper values for that settings. An appropriate value may then be entered.<br />

• PRESS [ENTER] TO ADD DEFAULT MESSA<strong>GE</strong>: If the ENTER key is pressed anywhere in<br />

the <strong>469</strong> actual value messages, this message prompts the user to press ENTER again<br />

to add a new default message. To add a new default message, ENTER must be<br />

pressed while this message is being displayed.<br />

• PRESS [ENTER] TO REMOVE MESSA<strong>GE</strong>: If the decimal key is pressed in the S1 <strong>469</strong> SETUP<br />

DEFAULT MESSA<strong>GE</strong>S settings group, immediately followed by the ENTER key, this<br />

message prompts the user to press enter to remove a default message. To remove the<br />

default message, ENTER must be pressed while this message is being displayed.<br />

• RESET PERFORMED SUCCESSFULLY: If all trip and alarm features that are active can<br />

be cleared (i.e. the conditions that caused these trips and/or alarms are no longer<br />

present), then this message will appear when a reset is performed, indicating that all<br />

trips and alarms have been cleared.<br />

• ROUNDED settings HAS BEEN STORED: A settings value entered with the numeric<br />

keypad may be between valid settings values. The <strong>469</strong> detects this condition and<br />

stores a value that has been rounded to the nearest valid settings value. To find the<br />

valid range and step for a given settings, simply press HELP while the settings is being<br />

displayed.<br />

• settings ACCESS IS NOW PERMITTED: This flash message notifies the user that<br />

settings may now be altered and stored any time the passcode security feature is<br />

enabled and a valid passcode is entered.<br />

• settings ACCESS IS NOW RESTRICTED: This message appears if the passcode security<br />

feature is enabled, a valid passcode has been entered, and the S1 <strong>469</strong> SETUP <br />
