DEA Fund Summary
Fund Description
The Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) fund is a special revenue fund established in September 2010 to
account for revenue from the sale of seized assets, which is shared among all participating agencies. The
Police Department is able to use this revenue to supplement services and supplies necessary to support
operations.
Major Budget Changes
The FY2014 budget decreased 33% from the FY2013 budget. The total FY2014 budget includes planned
expenditures of $116,000 for fitness facility upgrades. Fund balance and remaining available revenue is
programmed as contingency at $38,400.
