In an examination of table 42's survey data lines,<br />

one feature stands out. The issue of 'the preacher as a<br />

person' appears three times, in relation to three<br />

different survey questions. (This is critical, for this<br />

matter does not appear on tables 40 or 41, the tables<br />

documenting the other theologically based pairings.)<br />

On each of these three questions, 'Stewart'+'Rahner<br />

lecturers' give greater priority to the development of<br />

the preacher as a person (8,9,10).<br />
