together, the other four data lines listed in table 78<br />

document closer similarity among Baptists and<br />

Evangelicals, with both groups seeing the Bible (more<br />

than the other two denominational groups) as an integral<br />

part of preaching and the teaching of preaching.<br />

Baptist and Evangelical lecturers pair their higher<br />

regard for Scripture with a lower view of the preacher's<br />

need to know his congregation.<br />
